DAICA National Council Meeting, Melbourne Tuesday, March 10, 2009

Precise commencement time and venue of the next Council Meeting has not been determined as yet, but they will be posted here when known.  All DAICA members are welcome to attend as observers at any Council meeting, but please notify the Secretary (Phil Cornell) of your intention to be present.


Cocktail Party at Victoria Barracks, Melbourne 1700 -1900 Hours Tuesday, March 10, 2009

A cocktail party is to be held at Victoria Barracks, Melbourne. Details are yet to be finalised. As arrangements firm up, details will be posted here and will also be advised in the next Newsletter and by email.


Breakfast in connection with Avalon Airshow Wednesday, March 11, 2009

Planning is underway to hold a breakfast for DAICA members at a venue relatively close to Avalon during the Avalon Airshow week. Timings, venue and planned activities (other than a breakfast) are still being determined. Arrangements will be advised on here when known and  in the next newsletter and also by email.


Function in connection with Defence + Industry 2009, Adelaide Tuesday, June 30, 2009

DAICA intends to hold a function in connection with the Defence + Industry Conference to be held in Adelaide during the period 30 June to 2 July 2009.


DAICA AGM and Annual Dinner, Sydney Thursday, October 29, 2009

During the period October - November 09

National Council believes it is time that the venue for the Annual General Meeting and Annual Dinner be moved from what has become a de facto tradition of Melbourne. Accordingly, the 2009 AGM and Annual Dinner will be held in Sydney. Planning for this function has only just commenced, but plans envision involving Sydney Harbour in some way.  Watch out for further details.
